Camp Long Lake Swim Test 2014

Posted on 8/24/2014 by

The camp long lake swim test determines where you can swim in aqua land and whether or not you can use the boats by seeing how good a swimmer you are.

The test has you jump feet first into water that goes above your head. Then you must swim one lap (two lengths) for beginner, and two laps (four lengths) for advanced swimmer. The last length must be elementary back stroke, but the rest can be any front stroke you'd like. We do this test every year at the Brookfield Central High School pool. You must be an advanced swimmer to ride the boats, go anywhere in the pool, and do certain merit badges during summer camp. Many scouts passed this year, congratulations to all of them.
