Scouting for Food started as an Eagle Scout project a few years ago, when a scout made his project be to help the local food pantry. The scoutmaster decided this was a good turn worthy of being done every year for our community, and now the troop 71 scouts help the food pantry every year in scouting for food.

Tricia's Troops helps those fighting cancer with their daily chores - including housework, shopping and laundry, and even helps to reduce the financial strain the family is under.
Mrs. Candice Strong continues the mission of her sister Tricia Wright, who passed away from cancer. When Mrs. Wright was sick she had the support of many friends and family but realized that not everyone had such support.
